Accounting Software Support Technician
We are seeking a new team member for our expanding dedicated Support department. We are looking for a candidate with product knowledge or from within the mid range, to high end accounting software support role with talents and experiences, as below, to become a key member of our team:
Qualifications:
- Accounting qualifications beneficial but not essential
- Networking qualifications beneficial but not essential:
- SQL qualifications beneficial but not essential:
Experience:
- Preferably at least 2-3 years within a similar mid range to high end Accounting Software support role
- Experience of diagnosing software and user support issues and following through to completion.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting PC and Network related issues. Ability to accomplish “light” network support and work with the client to configure Network settings/rights etc..
- Experience in data reporting or extraction using Reporting tools, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access, ODBC etc..
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Experience of Supporting clients in different industries eg: distribution, financial, service, construction, manufacturing etc..
- Accounting Software Product knowledge beneficial.
- Experience in Supporting Retail and CRM applications is advantageous
- Experience in Supporting and/or implementing SQL based Accounting /Business systems a distinct advantage

Sales Administrator
The ideal Sales Administrator will be conscientious and hard working with good organisational skills. The ability to work well within a team and multitask is also key.
Sales Administrator Duties
- Prepare reports, sales brochures, price lists, discount offers and other sale documents.
- Work with the marketing department and assist with data entry, data cleansing, mail and e-shot campaigns
- Work with internal CRM system, keep all leads updated and create reports.
- Assist with the streamlining and perfecting of our sales procedures, using experience gained from previous roles
- Send emails, faxes and newsletters to prospects and customers.
- Assist with preparation of quotations, proposals and tender documents.
- Send quotations and proposals to prospects.
- PA duties for the Commercial Director, managing diaries and calendars, confirming appointments, following up leads.
- Arrange for sales meetings on the advice of the sales personnel manager or director.
- Perform basic sales duties when sales representatives are away or on calls.
- Handling incoming sales calls professionally. Providing regular management sales reports.
Sales Administrator Knowledge and Skills:
- Should be thorough with all administrative tasks.
- Ability to work on their own initiative
- Great attention to detail in al verbal and written communications
- Recommends & implements continual improvements.
- Excellent proven Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook
- Excellent spoken and written English
- 2-3 years experience working in a similar role previously
- Experience of working with a CRM system
- Ability to deal with sales teams and customers.
- Professional and polite telephone manner
- Strong numerical skills. Ability to calculate well.
- Should possess good business acumen.

Working closely with the Management team, and existing focused and enthusiastic Sales Team, as a software solutions sales consultant, we are seeking someone who can make the necessary introductions to clients across new sectors.
We are seeking a candidate capable of generating their own leads and also running with supplied leads through to needs analysis and scoping, preparation and provision of full demonstration workshops to clients, completion of tenders and proposals, through to closure of sales.
You will be proven experienced in working with, and exceeding targets in previous similar roles
Tasks & Duties:
- Develop an in-depth Product knowledge of the Exchequer Business & Accounting Software solution.
- Suggest and Implement Direct and Indirect Sales & Marketing campaigns alongside departmental campaigns and activities
- Prepare detailed and professional Tender responses plus quotations and proposals
- Demonstrate Exchequer to the highest level of product demonstration
- Professionally analysis a client’s needs and requirements
- Negotiate to close of Sale on one’s own and also in conjunction with Senior experienced Product specialists
- Direct mail Campaign follow-up via mail/fax and telephone
- Organisation and suggestion of mini events and activities to foster continued and greater prospective interest in Exchequer
Your valuable Expertise to us
You will have a minimum of 3 – 5 year’s experience of Accounting or related enterprise software sales, have strong interpersonal communications skills, have a proven ability and enthusiasm to sell consultative solution sales by phone and in person, liaising with prospective clients at all levels There are realistic opportunities to greatly exceed on-target earnings.
Experience in actual accounting software solution sales is beneficial but not essential,
Proven ability to demonstrate software products using a laptop in face to face boardroom presentations is essential.
Understanding of software and IT terminology and concepts an added advantage.
Ability and drive to work towards targets at a personal level and Group level.

Tele Marketing/ Tele Research - part time or full time
This candidate would be responsible for working within the Software Sales team. The main tasks would involve assisting the Sales department in contacting prospective leads, cleansing industry databases and identifying interest in our solutions/booking demonstrations for key sales personnel through telephone based activities.
You would work within a friendly sales department, liaising directly with the Sales team and assisting in meeting our overall goals.
Duties would include the following:
